Thanks to the hawk like eyes of my mother, I have found out that the Pink Floyd one didnt have pockets... and I need them... so, I found another one just like it WITH pockets:

HELP! - My New Jersey :: Wednesday, September 5th 2007
I cannot decide what to get. I want something to wear during my triathlon. Right now I just have old t-shirts and 2 running shirts.

I tried to find something with NDSU on it, but was told by the NDSU Cycling Club that they are all out.

I tried to find something with Minnesota on it, maybe a nerdy logo like so:

But alas, I cannot find anything.

So, here are what I am looking at... and I need to order soon.

The Beard is Gone :: Saturday, September 1st 2007
Well, for all those who saw. It is now gone. Today it was getting a bit scraggly and was starting the trek over my lip where I did not want it to go. So, ultimately (since I have nothing but a razor) it came down to:

a. Get a beard trimming kit or,
b. Shave.

And for those who know me; know I hate shopping.

Well, all thats left are some pretty sad looking sideburns.

Back from Camping :: Monday, August 27th 2007
Hey! We e back. And Im sick. Must have had way too much fun. We got there just at sundown on Friday and found out that unlike most campsites you cannot park your car at your spot. So, we had to haul our stuff by the armful to our site... 4 trips in all. Then after we did that I parked the car in the faraway lot (overnight) and proceeded to set up the tent in the dark.

We did pretty well, got the fire going and then noticed we had a furry friend with us... Peppy Le Peu. This severely freaked Mandy out, but he eventually went away and we had a good night.

Saturday morning we started our fire and made some breakfast. Then we proceeded to the beach and I did some surfing.

After getting back to camp and playing some chess we went for a walk. And found out that we again went about 3 miles too far. We always seem to do that! I saw that up ahead was the Capitola pier with the S. S. Palo Alto and decided that that would be REALLY cool to see.

Well, it was okay... but we should have drove!

Anyway, we got back to camp and had some salmon and talapia, read some in our books (Mandy was reading The Secret Life of Bees and Im reading The Grapes of Wrath), and drank some wine.

Sunday morning Mandy took a walk on the beach and found some seashells, and later we were visited by Josh and Jen for some surfing and boogie boarding.

All in all it was a great weekend! Too bad I have to work now... and somehow got sick on top of that... pictures to come...

Well, we are going camping :: Friday, August 24th 2007
Today is Friday (yay) and we are going to spend the weekend at Manresa State Beach. I am really excited because I love camping, plus this place is right on the BEACH!.

According to Pacific Waverider the waves will be kinda small on Saturday (maybe Ill swim a mile to get ready for Santa Cruz Sentinel Triathlon I am entered in next month) but, Sunday looks about perfect for me.

Mandy and I have plans to crack some wine, walk the beach, and play some board games. Oh, yeah and eat food that was cooked on fire!
